Ice cream made of new vintage BalatonWine

The 2017 vintage of regional wine from Balaton broader wine region has just been released. The wine regions around the largest lake of Central Europe united and released the first BalatonBor (BalatonWine) in 2015. The wine has to be made of Olaszrizling grape, and it must represent the true BalatonBor style – a refreshing, crispy, fruity wine to be enjoyed on the beach. The wines are blind tasted before obtaining the right to be labelled with the common BalatonBor label. This year more wineries joined the common brand than the previous year: 28 wineries, like Dobosi Winery from Balatonfüred, Garamvári Winery from South Balaton or Sabar Wine House from Balaton region. At the press conference a new ice cream from Bergmann Confectionary, Balatonfüred were presented as well, made of BalatonBor – the new flavoured ice cream might be a top hit of the upcoming summer.
