VinCE Budapest Wine Show is a wine event organized annually, now for the 11th time on 3–4 April. This year the event focuses on natural wines and organizers expect more exhibitors from neighbouring countries (for example visitors can taste wines of Movia from Slovenia, Dorli Muhr, Kracher and Schiefer Pur from Austria, Recas from Romania). Garamvári Vineyard will also exhibit – a true legend of Hungarian wine life. The winery makes still wines in Balatonboglár wine region and sparkling wines in Budafok (Etyek–Buda), and the founder, Vencel Garamvári was the first to make méthode traditionelle sparkling wine of 100% Furmint. He was selected Winemaker of the Year in 2006, then the winery received the prestigious Winery of the Year in the very same year! Plus last year Vencel Garamvári was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Hungarian Wine Academy.
