Frittmann Winery is a family winery with numerous prestigious acknowledgements – just a few to mention: János Frittmann was chosen Winemaker of the Year in 2007, and the winery was chosen Winery of the Year in 2015. A recent success of them is gold medal from Le Mondial du Rosé, Cannes, France for the 2017 vintage Frittmann Rosé Cuvée. The light pink wine has a refreshing nose with raspberry, strawberry and redcurrant, and the palate continues with vibrant fruitiness combined with a touch of spices. If you want to taste this superb summer wine on the spot, 6–8 July is the best occassion, when the town of the Frittmanns, Soltvartkert has its annual music and wine festival at the lake of the town. Frittmann Winery has a few rooms to stay, and they also has a wine shop with enomatic tasting system, so you can taste the whole range before shopping.
