Tokaj Wines for Auction at ProWein and besides many white and red gems of Hungary

At the largest wine fair of Europe, ProWein in Düsseldorf Hungary will present exhibitors and a complex program. The above mentioned tasting – which will take place on 19^th March – will be one of the most interesting. The Confrérie de Tokaj presents a rare opportunity to pre-taste some of the best samples which will be auctioned off at the Great Tokaj Wine Auction in April. The moderator is Ronn Wiegand American Master of Wine and Master Sommelier, who happens to live in Hungary, in Tokaj wine region – thus he has the insider information besides his wide knowledge. CHATEAU DERESZLA TOKAJ

The winery is in fact two wineries, Dereszla and Henye, and this fact enables them to provide a wider portfolio than the usual.

CSÁNYI WINERY

This is the largest quality producer of red wines. The entry level wines are correct and extremely good value, the medium range is good and great value, whereas wines of the premium selection, ‘Kővilla’ (literally stone villa) are great – and good value!

This winery is also in Tokaj, and if you are looking for precisely made, outstanding quality dessert wines, it is a must to visit them. Also ask for Patricius Sárgamuskotály, they can make such an elegant wine of the aromatic grape that you could never expect

TORNAI WINERY 

The smallest wine region of Hungary with great potential and volcanic soil – it is Somló. Tornai is one of the two wineries that can produce quantity and quality. Their wines keep winning at international contests, this is the latest piece of news full of gold.
