Budapest Furmint Tasting Today!

As we wrote earlier, the annual grand Furmint February tasting is today from 4 pm in Budapest. Tickets are still available on the spot, and some people are even selling their cheaper Early Bird ticket on Facebook. If you happen to stay in Budapest, do not miss it!
Tickets cost 25 000 HUF (approximately 62 EUR).
Venue: Hungarian Heritage House, 8 Corvin tér, Budapest, H-1011, Hungary
The annual grand tasting takes place in the centre of Budapest at the river Danube in the Hungarian Heritage House. Around 60 wineries pour their Furmint wines, certainly mostly from Tokaj, like Holdvölgy, Patricius, Sauska or Zsirai, but Furmint has great potential in other wine regions, so taste Furmint from Tornai Winery (Somló), Kovács Nimród Winery (Eger) and also from Steigler Cellar (Sopron).
