Furmint Grand Tasting in Warsaw on 5 February

It is great to see that from London to Paris, from Budapest to Warsaw the month of February is full of Furmint tasting. Let us recommend Winicjatywa tasting now for trade visitors and for consumers as well (only from 16.00 to 18.00). Patricius (in our cover photo) is one of the 20 exhibitors.

Patricius Furmint 2021 – the fruity face of Furmint

The famous estate makes several wines using the variety. The one in the cover photo is the “entry level” Furmint of the winery, a great wine to learn the variety. While pear is one of the most typical notes of Furmint, Patricius Furmint 2021 has more fruits to offer: “This wine boasts a distinctive fruity varietal character, complemented with a perfumed nose due to Furmint grape. The palate combines nice minerality and elegant, vibrant acidity to deliver the same fruitiness as the nose with peach and a touch of almond and make a well-balanced and easy-to-drink terroir white wine.”
