The gold winners of the 56th Villány regional wine contest will be presented this Saturday in Pécs at a relaxed tasting, with 16 wineries. Guests can taste – among others – the best white wine of the contest by Teleki Wines, the Champion awarded Sauska Cuvée 7, the red wine with the highest score, Koch Cabernet Franc 899, and the Syrah with the highest score by Jackfall Winery. Jackfall will also introduce the Champion award winner Gesztenyés Portugieser 2022 (Portugieser du Monde international wine competition).

The city of Pécs is worth a visit anyway. It takes only 2 hours and 15 minutes by car to get there (via M6). By InterCity trains it takes 2.5 hours.
