Bock Kékfrankos Selection 2023, Villány

Yield controlled fruit from Fekete-hegy vineyard. Fermentation in stainless steel, ageing in 2nd use barrique. Cherry, sour cherry and chocolate on the nose and palate.

Etyeki Kúria MSV Konkrét Kékfrankos 2023, Sopron

Hand harvest, gentle destemming, fermentation on the skin. Ageing for a year in concrete tank. Pure fruitiness – sour cherry, cherry, redcurrant – complemented by a hint of spiciness and some minerality.

Heimann Bati Kereszt Kékfrankos 2021, Szekszárd

The grape comes from the north-facing Bati Kereszt vineyard. Beautiful aroma with a lighter body, very floral, cool, and playful. The 2021 vintage is particularly young and vibrant.

Fermentation in stainless steel tank, maturation in 500 L oak barrel. A hint of vanilla and sour cherries. Concentrated, elegant and complex wine with fine tannins.

Intensive yield limitation. 18 months of aging in oak barrels. Youthful appearance, vibrant nose with black berry fruits and layered spiciness. Intense, refreshing acidity.

Taschner Soproni Kékfrankos 2024, Sopron

Intense, deep colour. Rich nose with raspberry, sour cherry, violet and pepper, the palate features some dark chocolate as well. The best price-value ratio with a retail proce of only 2000 HUF (about 5.5 EUR).

Vylyan Kékfrankos 2023, Villány

10% of the wine was matured in 500 litre Hungarian oak barrels, 5% in ceramic vessels and 85% in wooden casks. The wine was bottled after 12-month ageing. Explosively lively acids are embodied in the notes of freshly picked cherries supplemented by a touch of chocolate. A thirst-quenching wine for the lovers of the variety.
