We have just posted a piece about Kéknyelű indigenous varietal with some interesting facts. This female-only grape is grown exclusively in Badacsony wine region, where several volcanic mountains give a touch of extra taste to the wines. On Tuesday we presented Borbély Kéknyelű Selection 2018, and now we would like to introduce a new release from Sabar Wine House from Sabar Hill.

Decanter magazine’s recent Hungarian supplement presents the 30 best buys beyond Tokaj picked by three experts with great knowledge of Hungarian wines: Caroline Gilby MW, Oz Clarke OBE and Tamás Czinki MS. Sabar Olaszrizling Birtokbor (Estate wine) 2019 was picked by Tamás Czinki, the first Hungarian Master Sommelier living in the UK, and the wine ranked No8 in the list of the 30 best buys.
